Build on faith event

Habitat for Humanity invites you to join local partners in ministry for a one-day event specifically designed to bring together church leaders and staff to build a stronger community through the sharing of best practices and tools to tackle issues facing the body today.

Build on Faith will host in person expert speakers -- including Bill Hybels senior pastor of Willow Creek Community Church and founder of The Global Leadership Summit -- to provide you with tangible resources and applicable practices to take back to your congregations.

Topics include:
• Developing staff & future church leaders
• Mobilizing and growing congregations
• Outreach best practices and opportunities
• Reaching all generations
• Optimizing resources
• Casting vision

Additional speakers include:

• Ron Blue, Christian financial advisor
• Albert Tate, founding pastor of Fellowship Monrovia
• Virginia Ward, youth pastor & trainer
• Derek Young, motivational speaker

As a Christian housing ministry, Habitat seeks to put God’s love into action by building on faith, building up families and building community together.

We believe that by building up our faith community and engaging more people to be the hands and feet of Christ, together we can transform lives and promote positive lasting social, economic and spiritual change in our neighborhoods and around the world.
